Alison (she/her) received her undergraduate degree at Grinnell College in 2003. Her love for movement and teaching brought her to Greensboro where she taught yoga and dance to students of all abilities across the lifespan. In addition to teaching yoga locally, Alison has also been an international yoga teacher trainer for 10 years, training hundreds of yoga teachers all over the world.

Alison’s love for yoga and functional movement easily led her into the field of occupational therapy and she graduated from Winston-Salem State University with her MS in Occupational Therapy. Her own personal experience with pelvic floor therapy after the birth of her son sparked her interest in this very special realm. Alison has specialized training in trauma-informed care, sexual health for all genders, and perinatal care. She looks forward to helping her clients build meaningful relationships with their bodies and cultivate their own healing journeys.
